This Privacy Policy explains how Kapturi LLC (“Kapturi”) handles data in FACTYN. We keep it short and specific to what the product actually does.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.
To provide the Service (compute your OEE and analytics), authenticate users, keep tenants isolated, respond to support, and secure and improve the product. We process your production data only to deliver FACTYN to you — see the Data Processing Addendum.
FACTYN runs on managed cloud infrastructure. We use a small set of sub-processors to operate the Service — currently our database/hosting provider (Supabase / PostgreSQL) and, where you contact us or we reply, an email delivery provider (Resend). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
We follow industry-standard practices: passwords are hashed (bcrypt), access is tenant-scoped at the application layer with Postgres row-level security as a second layer, and admin actions are audit-logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected customers of a breach without undue delay. We do not currently claim any formal certification (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001).
You can access and export your data from Settings at any time, correct it in the app, and request deletion by contacting us. We support data-subject requests under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA where they apply to you.
We keep your data while your account is active. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
